For decades, Neutrogena has participated in the "war of pimples", thanks to the presence of its flagship skincare range, Visibly Clear, available in supermarkets.

Today, the brand goes even further by offering the first mask of anti-acne light therapy to use at home.

A medical device that offers the same technology that is already used by dermatologists in their practice, and which will undoubtedly interest the 61% of women affected by severe to moderate acne in France *.

How it works ?

After cleaning the skin beforehand, put on the mask. Very light (only 400 grams), it consists of a shell that covers the entire face and integrated glasses.

Inside, an LED device is responsible for diffusing red and blue wavelengths in the dermis, where the sebaceous glands (organs responsible for the production of sebum) are located.

Blue light "kills" P. acnes , the bacterium responsible for acne, while red light reduces inflammation and redness.

Everything works thanks to a simple remote control connected to the mask: "the Activator". This allows you to do 30 sessions (1 per day) before having to be replaced. A session lasts only 10 minutes.

His promises? A reduction of acne breakouts (from the first week of use), but also an improvement of the texture and homogeneity of the skin.

On the other hand, those who hope to erase their acne scars can go their way: the mask has no effect on them.

Anti-acne mask: for whom?

This device can be used from the age of 12 to treat all types of severe to moderate acne.

If in doubt, it is still better to seek advice from a dermatologist before use, especially in case of other skin problems (melasma, rosacea ...).
