Toothpaste, a product with many virtues
Toothpaste, everyone has at home. However, this essential product for our oral hygiene is also very effective in maintaining the home. Thanks to its abrasive, antimicrobial and whitening agents, toothpaste is an ally of choice for cleaning, whitening and shining various surfaces . It can also be hijacked as a skin care to eliminate an unsightly pimple, thanks to its anti-bacterial properties. In short, toothpaste has many interesting properties to use every day!
Smart uses of toothpaste
- To clean dirty joints : apply, let act at least 1 hour then rub before rinsing. Result: the joints regain all their whiteness!
- To give a second breath to dirty sports shoes : if one wants to restore the whiteness of the soles of his sneakers , they are brushed with a little toothpaste before wiping.
- To remove a stain of ink or make-up on the clothes, apply some toothpaste to the stain , rub and rinse with clear water. If necessary, do not hesitate to repeat the operation until complete disappearance of the stain.
- To make the faucet shine, toothpaste works miracles. We put a small dose on a sponge, rub the tap and rinse before polishing with a rag for a brilliant result.
- To revive his iron : the abrasive agents contained in the toothpaste make it a miracle product to clean the soleplate of his iron and restore its radiance. For this, we make sure that the iron is unplugged and cold, then we rub the sole with a little toothpaste before rinsing well with a slightly moistened cloth.
- To shine silver jewelery : if you want to shine a silver object or restore a jewel in oxidized silver , deposit a dab of toothpaste on the surface and gently rub (to avoid scratches) with a soft cloth or a toothbrush, before rinsing and drying.
- To dry a button : before going to bed, we put a small hazelnut toothpaste on a nasty button, we let it work all night and rinse well the next day. This trick allows you to dry the button and thus make it disappear more quickly.
