MY ROLE OF DEMOISELLE D'HONNEUR DURING PREPARATIONS

Whether the future bride is your sister, a cousin, your sister-in-law or your long-time friend, your mission is to be present for her at all times. As a bridesmaid, you will most likely be invited to help the bride to choose her wedding dress and accompany her to the wedding hairstyle and makeup trials. She will need your advice and objective advice. Be always sweet in your remarks: a bride may be very likely.

It is also your role to organize the bride's bachelor party. It's up to you to find original ideas that might appeal to the bride. You can also be asked to help you choose all wedding details: dragees, announcements, bridal bouquets, wedding decoration, music, menu, or even participate in the decoration of the D-Day reception room. Obviously, you have the right to say no to certain tasks if you do not have the time or the envy. If you do not live in the same city as the bride, you will be asked less. But you can always give some advice remotely through Skype or by mail.

MY ROLE ON D J

Once the festivities are initiated, you may be asked to help co-ordinate a minimum reception of guests, the procession of children, or manage the unexpected. If the heart tells you or if the bride asks you, you may have to prepare a speech or games in concert with the other bridesmaids and groomsmen to trace the life of the brides with some moving anecdotes or comical. You will understand: your role is to be present for the bride. If some aspects require a little investment, it is for the best, and most importantly, to share one of the most beautiful moments in the life of your girlfriend, sister or cousin.
