Different components to obtain a leathery chord
Leather notes evoke tanned leather. To recreate this olfactory characteristic, perfumers exploit natural chords of birch, cistus labdanum or tobacco. On the synthetic components side, there is isobutyl quinoline. In addition, animal notes can also be used to obtain a leathery chord. However, the use of certain animal materials such as, for example, civet and musk is now banned. Thus, the nose uses synthetic reproduction.

No jealous, there is for everyone: the perfumes that release leather notes can be masculine or feminine. However, for more than thirty years, these notes are less fashionable and therefore rarer in perfumes.
