The advice of the pro
To avoid shaking, hold your eyeliner between your thumb and forefinger, keeping your fingers as close to the mine as possible.
After laying the liner, apply two good layers of mascara forming zigzags and stretching the lashes high for a dizzying curve!
A small white pencil line inside the eye will give more contrast and make everything more striking.

The color on the eyelid: the eyeliner is the solo and that's what we like!
Put mascara on the bottom eyelashes, it vampirise the curve of the eyeliner.

Which color ?
- If your eyes are clear, sublimate them with warm tones like purple or brown,
- If your eyes are dark , opt for blue or gray to highlight them.
But to wear a rock or sophisticated look, the black eyeliner remains a safe bet, whatever the color of your eyes.

1- Prepare

The contour of the eye is cleaned with a cotton swab moistened with thermal water : it does not leave a greasy film on the skin, unlike the makeup remover. It works on bare eyelid (no powder, no foundation, no concealer): this optimizes the glide and the holding.
If you really need to wear a concealer , it is laid before , leaving free the immediate contour of the eye.

With a small mirror , it is better: it is placed slightly below on a table, to better see the drawing of the eyelid. This also helps to find support for the elbows, which ensures the stability of the hand (and avoids shaking).

To become familiar with the tip , first fade the material on the hand It avoids pulling on the eyelid under penalty of distorting the line.

2- Trace

We start from the outside : it avoids feeling obliged to do the entire length of the eye, retro way. We can start with the outer corner of the eye , finish in the middle of the iris, change the thickness of the line , its height or direction. This leaves room for more freedom and therefore more modernity.

We do not hesitate to launch: even if the line is not perfect from the outset, it can easily be modified and refined with a cotton swab barely soaked in makeup remover, which is used as an eraser.

To ensure symmetry , we first draw the main drawing, then we realize the other eye . Then one refines , if necessary, with a cotton-rod. The upper and lower lines of the eyelid should not meet at the inner corner of the eye: it diminishes the look. There is no space between the line and the flush of the eyelid : it floats the eye and gives the feeling that the line is not finished. It also fills between the eyelashes: it smooths the look by giving the sensation that the liner is an integral part of the eye.

3- Force

It is repeated several times to thicken the line by stretching progressively towards the outside of the eye. At the bottom, we balance with a black pencil placed at the level of the lashes, starting in the middle.
The mascara is applied after having applied the liner: eyelashes already made upset the fluidity of the gesture. We end with a light veil of loose powder to fix the line and unify the result.
