Contouring tips for very clear skins

Often subject to redness and blemishes, very pale skins require an impeccable make-up base. To get your best complexion out of your pale complexion, some parts of the face need to be illuminated and others darkened. To begin, apply a moisturizing makeup base on the entire face, then carefully cover the dark circles and small veins with a corrective pencil. To accentuate light-colored faces, emphasis should be placed on the cheekbones, jaws and nose, so have a foundation or a powder of a clear tint and another more dull. To emphasize the jaws, prefer the dark tint, to lay along the line of your jaw.

The chin, the eyebrows and the forehead must be dressed in the light tone, a semitone below the color of your complexion. To play on the lights, apply an orange or pale pink outline around your nose, and highlight the edge of a matte color. Finally, choose a blush with pale and discreet hues, which you will stretch to the temples. These contouring tricks will allow you to play on shadows and lights to perfectly match your pale complexion and sublimate your skin tone.

The right colors to make up the eyes and lips

The clear skins have no equal to sublimate the look and color of the hair. True asset, your complexion requires however to bet on a discreet makeup and avoid colors too flashy and bet on trend nude. The best trick is to refer to the color of your eyes and that of your hair to choose the ideal tone of your makeup. To make up your eyes and to obtain a complexion of fresh and pink doll, generally prefer the mother-of-pearl and pastel shades, which will put the delicacy of your skin in value and will underline discreetly your glance. If you have red hair, pale green hues are an excellent ally and will bring that flamboyant side that suits you so well.

Are you dark-skinned? Preferably turn to warm tones such as red, brown, amber or plum, which will lessen the contrast between your skin and your hair but will emphasize your features. For porcelain-colored blondes, nothing beats cold colors, such as light pink, gray or mauve, which brings real luminosity. As for makeup of your mouth, very red or too dark tones are not recommended since they tend to harden the lines and slice brutally with your natural skin color. The best is still gloss and lip gloss with discreet colors such as pale pink.
