Gabby Allen has received death threats over her relationship with Marcel Somerville.

The 25-year-old 'Love Island' star - who finished fourth on the show - admitted she was shocked when she turned on her phone after leaving the ITV2 series and saw the messages.

She told the Daily Star: "I couldn't believe my phone when I came out.

"I've had death threats. I've been told to kill myself. It's crazy."

And she believes the show's editing could be at fault, for making it appear as if she was treating her Blazing Squad star love badly.

She added: "Apparently there's been scenes shown where it looked like I was being horrible to Marcel.

"I've been told they showed stuff like where we were having a conversation, he'd say something and I'd stick my middle finger up at him.

"It would obviously be a joke, but it would cut off before you could see that.

"When I came out, I was like, 'What have people been seeing?' You don't know how you are being edited."

However, Gabby insists she and 31-year-old Marcel are stronger than ever.

She said: "We are strong and we are going to be together.

"I could have chosen to go with someone else who came in the villa but at no point did I want to jeopardise what I have with Marcel."

The pair initially raised eyebrows about the authenticity of their romance inside the villa as they managed to share a bed for two months without having sex.

But they have revealed they finally did the deed after the wrap party earlier this week as they were away from the cameras and couldn't wait to get frisky beneath the sheets.

Gabby said recently: "We had sex last night after the wrap party. We were in a villa with no cameras so we flip reversed it."
