For who ? Those who like the practical side.
The formula: Waxes and vegetable oils, and protective agents.
What do we think? He is very generous in terms of weight. A big chocolate pencil on one side, white on the other side (White Sands / Molten Lava), with an ideal texture, neither too melting nor too dry, for comfort and ease of application. Very well tolerated.
The most impressive: the weight / price ratio is the most advantageous of the test bench. It removes makeup particularly easily.
To improve: it lacks a little outfit, it must be put back in the day.
The VB: cut a little bit every two or three uses with a pencil sharpener to the appropriate diameter, to maintain its tip but also to keep a hygienic makeup tool.

For who ? The sensitive eyes.
The formula: a high concentration of oils for a really soft mine, a polyethylene wax to fix the color, and antioxidants to protect the formula and the eye.
What do we think? Its compact size is super convenient for the holiday kit. And, even sharpened, its mine is flexible enough not to hurt the eyelids even the most fragile, including inside the eye. Beautiful density of pigments. Only available in black.
The most bluffing: without hesitation, its sweetness.
To improve: good performance but can still do better.

What do we think? It is more of an interpretation of kohl than of kohl itself, which does not prevent us from having fun with these colors of summer, the pencil existing in two tones, matte on one side (Purple or Khaki), bright and pearly on the other (Rose Gold or Camel).
The most stunning : it does not run, which is convenient in hot weather or on vacation.
To improve : it lacks a bit of "fat" to deserve the name of kohl and a really dark shade for matte complexions.
The VB : the more plum makes the nutty eyes look greener, the green intensifies the very clear eyes or conversely very dark.

For whom ? Those who are not good.
The formula : a cocktail of waxes, oils and protective agents.
What do we think ? This cone is reminiscent of the traditional kajal, the Indian equivalent of khôls Maghreb, but sharper and so much easier to use ... when you did not fall into the bowl of kohl at birth!
The most bluffing : a single color, a very vibrant violet blue.
To improve : a little too dry when the temperature is a few degrees Celsius.
The VB : to make the whiteness of the eye look white with kohl (that's what gives all its charm to the eye) or when wearing contact lenses and this makeup is forbidden, draw the inner part of the lower eyelid ... before going to bed.

What do we think? Funny and practical this presentation that evokes charcoals and pastels bold designers and other watercolorists, we would buy almost to make sketches (I tested!). And, with its hood fitting, here is a kohl for once very hygienic. Soft eyelids, dense in outline, it is playful.
The most stunning: its design is beautiful and the finish worthy of a real kohl of Marrakech.
To improve: it should be included in the catalog because at the moment it exists only in limited edition. It would be a shame to be deprived of it the rest of the year. Mini size, high price.
The VB : to offer the two colors if one can and superimpose the purple to the black for a look of princess of the desert.

What do we think? We are closer to the classic makeup pencil than to kohl, even if we can work it kohl to get a deep and mysterious look.
The most stunning: the pearly reflections bring a touch of light that is not found in other formulas.
To improve: some colors (there are five) such as Peach, White or Clear are not easy to use alone in kohl.

How to apply your kohl pencil?
Tips from Max Herlant, make-up artist at Yves Rocher: Draw the line in the inner part of the lower eyelid, but also in the inner part of the upper eyelid, under the line of the eyelashes. Close your eyes for a few seconds so that it permeates the eye and gives that desired haunting side. Apply the pencil flush with the eyelashes and blend in with the finger as for a smoky. If the pencil is too dry, bring a light bulb to the mine for a few seconds. If it flows too much, iron on the line (upper eyelid) with a touch of powder eye shadow to fix the pencil.
