• We devoured the book

No wonder the book became a story in the cinema, so the scenes were easy to imagine. "The girl of the train" brings us, in the first minutes, into a hectic narrative full of mysteries, where one no longer knows whether one meets the reality or madness of the girl, Rachel, interpreted by Emily Blunt in the movies.

  • It's a panting thriller

"The girl of the train" is the story of Rachel, a young woman who takes the suburban train every morning. During her journey, she always passes in front of these houses lined up close to the railway track, where she imagines the lives of its inhabitants, especially a couple (Megan and Jason) who seems perfect and very happy. One morning, she will no longer see Megan, she will investigate and find herself mixed up in the story without understanding why.

  • The story looks like a Hitchcock movie

As the story goes, Rachel finds herself mixed up with Megan's disappearance, it is not clear what the truth is, and if Rachel is suffering from madness or amnesia that would cause her to commit uncontrolled acts which it then conceals. The story reminds us of Hitchcock's "Psychosis" and the dissociative disturbances of his main character Norman Bates.

  • The cast is good

In the role of Rachel, English actress Emily Blunt and American actor Justin Theroux (Jennifer Aniston's husband), in the role of her alcoholic husband who left her. Accustomed to lighter roles, Emily Blunt proves to be bluffing in the incarnation of a troubled character who goes so far as to doubt herself. She is unrecognizable, her complexion pallid, her eyes round and her voice trembling.

  • It's a real thriller

Amateur thrillers, detective novels, intriguing stories and investigations, you will love "The girl of the train". The scenario will make you real investigators to try to unravel the true from the false and make your own assumption until the end. The story is intense and even makes us afraid at times. It is really gripping and the whole is perfectly transcribed on the screen thanks to a worked realization.
