Indeed Jordyn Taylor, a journalist from the American site Mic, wanted to verify this theory. To begin her investigation, she wanted to ask her Twitter followers what they thought about this technique. Result? Internet users were divided between half-naked sleeping and really taking off all their clothes. And it seems that they are perfectly right!

In her article on this question, Jordyn Taylor puts forward several reasons for this: it is "important to let body temperature decrease during sleep," she explains. To support her comments, the journalist relied on the advice of Shawn Stevenson, author of a book on "better-sleep". "This decrease in temperature will lower your blood pressure, which will activate the system of rest and digestion, also known as the parasympathetic nervous system," says the journalist.

And if you thought you could sleep in underwear (almost naked then), think again! It is not advisable to keep your bra that often "compresses" the rib cage. Similarly for men, avoid boxers and breathe your privacy. These underwear could reduce sperm count and impair fertility, according to a 2015 study from Stanford University.
