Caffeine, the major ally to relieve migraine

A cold sensation on the eyes and forehead

Some will have a preference for a very hot sensation, but most migraine sufferers prefer to apply a cold glove to their foreheads and eyes.

Laetitia slips even an ice pack into her pillow to keep her head cold. A wipe or wet towel can also do the trick.

The must ? A gel mask that keeps in the freezer and applies to the eyes to soothe migraine.

A pressure point on the hands to ease the pain

It is the secret that gets carried away everywhere and requires nothing more than a benevolent soul who agrees to lavish you this care.

As Véronique explains, there is a point of pressure, between the thumb and forefinger, which relieves migraine. It is necessary to squeeze and stimulate the muscle located at this point, connected to the brain, to reduce headaches.

The best is to be massaged by a third person, but you can also try it in self-massage.

Rest in the dark, the anti-migraine weapon

This is the radical solution, the one that we do not escape when migraine is installed: sleeping in the dark. Jeanne adds that it is important to find a very dark place, without noise and odor (because of nausea).

Unfortunately, we are not always in a place where we can sleep, so it is necessary to take a break, quiet. We go out to breathe fresh air and walk for a few minutes, we cut the computer, the TV and keep your phone away.
