Kaws breathes the street-art spirit at Uniqlo

The 2016 Uniqlo summer collection has a New Yorker touch. In collaboration with artist KAWS, the UT collection of Uniqlo already on sale at Colette, will be available on May 2, 2016 in the boutiques of the brand.

The Uniqlo brand is a follower of collab '! After Liberty London, Carine Roitfeld, Lemaire and Inès de la Fressange, the Japanese brand of cool clothes put on street-art New York. For this Spring / Summer 2016 , Uniqlo is using KAWS to draw models from the UT collection. Between urban culture and pop art, the art of this street artist in New York is often presented within the Colette concept-store Parisian and it is also there that the Parisians were able to discover it.

T-shirts, tote bags, slippers ... including some twenty items, the new UT KAWS collection from Uniqlo is already available since April 25, 2016 in the Colette concept store in Paris . But it is from May 2, 2016 that the entire collection will be available in Uniqlo stores and on the e-shop of the brand.

- The t-shirts are priced at 14,90 €
- The tote bags cost between 14,90 € and 19,90 €
- Slippers are priced at 12,90 €

COMPANION , the famous character of KAWS is present on some t-shirts. Clouds, eyes, a heart ... the artist's fetish motifs are also expressed on the pieces of the collection.
