The iconic shoe of the souks is invited this season on the podiums of the creators. Riddled with its rebellious end , the Bedouin shoe now features a sleek design, beautiful skins and precious details (like a buckle on the heel or a strap on the vamp) , which make it a sharp accessory.

Babouche, podiums on the street

Behind this return of hype, we find irreverent designers who have made the babouche one of the masterpieces of their shows. For example, the irrepressible Phoebe Philo, whose pointed babouche enhanced by a side buckle was elevated to the rank of it-shoes last year, having immediately stepped on the podium. Authentic models from Acne Studios or Nicholas Kirkwood's deliciously lilies continue to grab our attention this season, followed closely by retailers from Zara to Free People.

How to wear slippers?

Needless to say, do not wear it first degree. In other words, forget the look like Samia Gamal and trade the oriental tunic for a boyfriend jeans or, let's be crazy, a loose panties skirt , which is next to a man's shirt with rolled up sleeves and some golden rushes. A casual outfit that is displayed with the same casualness in the city as on its next resort.
