Of fragile nature, not always easy to discipline, curly or frizzy hair is often worn in bun or braided, question of practicality. Other style: the return of curly hair to the natural, coiffed afro way, who take the catwalks of parades and other red carpets.

The braid, the ally of curly hair

As evidenced by the name "African tresses", braids are hairstyles very popular among women with frizzy hair, since they allow to leave the hair natural.

African mats (or glued mats), boxer braids, or even braid corn wheat, the variations are numerous.

While actress Lupita Nyong'o opts for a braided crown, the girlfriend of Robert Patinson, FKA Twigs, chooses for her a banana completely nailed up and down. More worked, we also crack for the braid of Kerry Washington.

The bun, the favorite of frizzy hair

Rather simple to achieve, the chignons can be well pulled, or more blurred.

You can decorate the hat of a hull at Brigitte Bardot, or opt for a plaited braid, which will give a more sophisticated side to the hairstyle.

Beyoncé opts for a romantic low bun with concealed fastening. Conversely, Kerry Washington opts for a chignon of the most worked, decorated with a large braid well drawn.

The return of the afro cup

Another trend, more and more present: the so-called nappy hair. Contraction of "natural" and "happy", the movement "nappy hair" consists in letting his hair curly or frizzy proudly, without spending his time to smooth them, or even to hide them! A hairstyle trend that Solange Knowles, Inna Modja or Uzo Aduba are fervent adepts and defenders.
