Cacharel: the perfume of young girls

Jean Bousquet, creator of the Cacharel brand, always knew how to be ahead of his time. When he founded the Cacharel house in 1958, he was one of the first to abandon haute couture for ready-to-wear clothing. In 1978, when the brand launched its first perfume, it also created the event, focusing on a brand new target: the girl. At the birth of the perfume "Anaïs Anaïs", a whole generation is seduced. Now a mythical fragrance, "Anaïs Anaïs" evokes tenderness and romanticism through its essence of lilies. It becomes the first perfume to offer to all young girls. A real revolution. In 2014, the brand decides to rework this fragrance. A new version renamed "Anaïs Anaïs Premier Délice" is born, always federating the young girls of the whole world. An internet community called #Girlstribu is even formed around perfume.

Cacharel: from girl to woman

With this first success, the Cacharel house will continue to accompany the girls on the path of femininity. Another success of the house Cacharel, "Loulou" was marketed in 1987. The perfume is inspired directly by the charisma of the actress Louise Brooks. Accompanied by the slogan "Loulou, c'est moi" and by a physics similar to that of the actress, perfume becomes a phenomenon. Many young women soon identified with him.
The brand then proposes "Amor Amor", a real fragrance at first sight, witnessing the first emotions in love. Contained in a flask shaped like a beating heart, "Amor Amor" symbolizes love passion and youth through a floral and fruity essence. The fragrance "Noa", created in 1998, expresses a sparkling femininity. Its pure notes of pepper, incense and peony evoke hope, harmony but also a more serene, more peaceful character, the culmination of the girl's journey to the woman.

Dream and poetry

In thirty years of creating fragrances, Cacharel also expressed thirty years of emotions. Cacharel is the first creator of perfumes to be interested in the world of young women and to have dedicated to them fragrances finally accessible to their age group. To stick to the imagination of this generation, the brand was inspired by deep feelings, but also by tenderness and romance. Cacharel perfumes are as many poems and stories as every girl can tell. They are intimate fragrances with strong expressions, such as femininity, love at first sight, mischief or purity. Having become the real accomplice of women, the brand Cacharel accompanies them in their daily life and their intimacy, yesterday as today.
