Boxing is nothing more than a matter of big guys. More and more people are donning gloves. Women's boxing really has the wind in its sails and that's good because this sport boosts us in every sense of the word. In the ring or against a punching bag, here are 3 good reasons to get into boxing!

Learn the first defense reflexes

Well, we're not going to lie to each other ... it's not because we practice boxing that we become a female Rocky and that we are able to send anyone to the table. Boxing is certainly a combat sport , but above all a frank and sincere sports discipline (look at Rocky!). Nothing serves to play the brave, it is probably not boxing that will save us in case of glitch in the street. In contrast, boxing helps us sharpen our reflexes . We learn to position ourselves well against the opponent, but especially to apprehend the confrontation. In other words, women's boxing helps to relieve fears and tame the first defense reflexes since you learn many combat techniques.

Gain self-confidence

Little by little, boxing helps to overcome his shyness . So no, contrary to popular belief, boxing is not only for girls who do not look cold! Throughout the sessions and battles, we channel our emotions and we learn to have confidence in ourselves: we leave the fear of "bad shot" aside by dominating our apprehensions. Boxing thus makes it possible to learn to cash shots that one would never have imagined to be able to take. We come out stronger and more confident of our boxing sessions: a good start of therapy for the shy ones of us. Boxing to let off steam and let go? Of course, we say yes!

Take care of yourself

Like any other sport, boxing obviously allows us to take care of ourselves. On the health side, it keeps us in shape by making cardio work (the heart becomes enduring and resistant) and beauty side, it helps us shape our silhouette harmoniously. Boxing is a sport of propulsion (we propel our body in the space to touch the opponent) which allows to keep the line and to muscle. Advancing the shoulders high to protect themselves, to move on tiptoe, to bend the legs ... the boxing appeals to all the muscles (or almost!) Of the body. But his practice is not only good for the physical, it is also good for the mind . Boxing is the perfect escape from those who lead overcrowded lives and have a stressful lifestyle.
