The air in our homes is more polluted than the air we breathe outdoors. 900 chemicals are in fact present in the air we inhale all day long. And some of them could be dangerous for your health. Not to mention the fact that, for the moment, the impact on our body of such a cocktail of toxic remains unknown. On the other hand, scientists observe that the number of people with allergies continues to increase. And other signs must also push us to review our habits at home: headaches, irritation of the eyes and throat, intense fatigue, ... To clean the air, we adopt the following reflexes.

1 - I breathe daily

At least twice a day for 10 minutes, preferably in the morning before 9am and in the evening. Even if it is cold, and even in case of peak pollution outside . Another precaution to take: never smoke indoors. The cigarette is the main source of formaldehyde in homes and its smoke is embedded in fabrics, furniture, ... We also open the windows after a shower, steaming or to let the laundry to dry in order to avoid the accumulation of moisture and the proliferation of possible molds. Same for new furniture in agglomerates that give off irritating aldehydes. An additional reason to opt for the recovery.

2 - I clean naturally

The products used to disinfect the kitchen or make the floor shine are real bombs pollutants. For a nickel interior, which smells clean, bet on white vinegar that degreases and descales. In all cases, gloves are used and sprays whose particles are dispersed in the air are avoided. Another possibility: labeled products (NF environment). Curtains, plaids, pillows, quilt, sofa cover, carpet and stuffed toys are passed every three months.

3 - I track down the dust

But without using a broom or feather duster that puts the irritating particles in suspension. A wet cloth or vacuum cleaner is preferred with an efficient filtration system (preferably HEPA, H13 or H14).
