Everton are believed to be ready to listen to what Tottenham have to offer regarding their midfielder Ross Barkley.

The England playmaker has failed to agree terms at Goodison Park and, after being given a deadline by manager Ronald Koeman to pen a new contract, it is expected that Barkley will leave this summer.

Everton are keen to avoid a messy tribunal over compensation if Barkley moves on to pastures new next summer when his contract runs out and are set to listen to offers.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be a long-term admirer of 23-year-old but so far the north London outfit have been unwilling to match Everton's £50m price-tag for Barkley.

However reports have suggested Spurs are willing to up their offer and hope that a deal can be agreed before the end of the summer window.
