To move freely, leave a minimum of one meter between each object . Remember: objects exist only because of the emptiness that surrounds them.
Two questions for each object: is it useful? Is he handsome ?
Beware of travel memories. A tajine dish has nothing to do in decoration on a wall.
Choose transparent furniture that lets in the light. Prefer reflective materials (glass, steel, Plexiglas, zinc ...), and prefer mirrors .
Protect your territory: the toys in the living room or parents' room are signs of clutter.
Multiply nails and hooks : they allow to hang rather than stack . Also prefer raised wall- mounted furniture that frees floor space.
Use stickers to enlarge the space : horizontal stripes lengthen the perspective , and vertical stripes give rather an impression of height.
Invest in dual function furniture : nesting tables , sofa beds , beds with storage drawers, stackable or folding chairs ...
