What is cellulite with water retention?

As its name suggests, this form of cellulite is due to water retention from your body . This may be the consequence of a food intolerance, a lack of elimination of certain chemical proteins (or salt) or a hormonal imbalance. In general, this phenomenon is due to poor circulation of the veins or lymphatic system, which prevents the water from your body from circulating properly and stores it in excess between the cells.

Cellulite with water retention: which foods should be favored?

Some nutrients are to favor for their benefits on the retention of water, it is:

- citro-flavonoids , found in citrus peel (oranges, grapefruit, lemons ...)

- vitamin P , contained in red fruits (especially in blueberry and blackcurrant)

- Vitamin E , found in fresh almonds , walnuts and hazelnuts , in cod liver oil , in wheat and sprouted soybeans , in eggs , butter , avocados , olives and many more ...

- Vitamin K , strongly present in broccoli .

In a more general way, do not hesitate to eat any kind of vegetables by diversifying them with each meal, but also many fruits , pineapple, rhubarb, kiwis and apples being to favor. Oily fish such as wild salmon or haddock are also recommended, as are seafood and poultry .

Many people know that one in three women suffers from water retention ; on the other hand what is less known is the impact of certain foods on this phenomenon. Here are some reflexes to adopt when preparing your meals :

- Completely remove refined white sugars such as white bread, sandwich bread, pastries, rusks ... but also the chacuterie, smoked meats and fish as well as industrial dishes such as pizzas, soups, quiches and other dishes prepared.

- Limit your consumption of milk , yogurt and white cheeses : they all contain casein that should not be swallowed too much each day.

Depending on your cellulite (fat, fibrous or with water retention) specific types of sports are to achieve or proscribe.

Thus for cellulite with water retention it is advisable to practice the choice: water aerobics, cross-country skiing, hiking (on foot or snowshoeing) stretching, yoga, walking , cycling or water polo ....
